Live blackjack online in Ontario: the kinds of tables
The aim is the same at every live blackjack table: get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. What changes is how many players can join, how fast the game moves and which side bets you can make.

Seven-seat tables
Some live tables seat seven players. Jackpot City's Live Blackjack 12, for example, is a seven-seat table, and FanDuel's Playtech studio opened in 2023 with 7-Seater Blackjack.
At a classic table, players decide in turn, from the dealer's left to right, so you wait for the players before you.
Tables with no seat limit
Some games let any number of players join. Pragmatic Play's ONE Blackjack lets an unlimited number of players join at any time, and Playtech's All Bets Blackjack has no limit on players either.
LeoVegas and Jackpot City list ONE Blackjack. FanDuel and PlayOJO list All Bets Blackjack tables, and bet365 has its own bet365 All Bets Blackjack.
Speed tables
In Evolution's Speed Blackjack, everyone decides at the same time, and the player who decides fastest gets the next card first. Evolution says the change doesn't affect the maths of the game.
LeoVegas, Jackpot City and PlayOJO all list speed blackjack tables, but different studios make their own versions, so check how a speed table works in its rules.
Tables built for one site
- BetMGM announced a private studio built with Evolution in 2022, with six blackjack tables.
- theScore Bet's branded blackjack tables were the first in Ontario to let players cash out early during a hand.
- OnAir built four blackjack tables just for DraftKings in Ontario, two of them VIP tables.
- PlayOJO has OJO's Exclusive Blackjack Table, and its live lobby marks three Playtech Studio21 blackjack tables as exclusive.
- bet365's live lobby marks bet365 All Bets Blackjack as exclusive to bet365.
Side bets and limits
Side bets differ from game to game. Jackpot City lists Perfect Pairs, 21+3 and Crazy 7 among the side bets on its live blackjack tables.
Limits run from low-stakes tables to VIP tables. Jackpot City describes ONE Blackjack as low-stakes, and two of DraftKings' OnAir tables are VIP tables. Open a table's rules before you bet to check its limits and payouts.
