How we research and rank
Every fact on livetables.ca links to the page it came from. Here's where we look, how we rank the sites and how we fix mistakes.

Where our facts come from
We start with primary sources: iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated sites, the AGCO's standards, each site's own pages and terms, and announcements from the sites and from the studios that make their live tables. We use trade press, such as Canadian Gaming Business, only for what those sources don't cover, and we name it in each page's sources.
We only list sites that appear in iGaming Ontario's directory, and we recheck the directory every time we update a page.
How we rank
We only count what a site, or a studio that supplies it, has published. Then we sort the sites:
- first by how many live studios we could confirm for the site in Ontario
- then by whether it has live tables made just for it
- then by how many kinds of live game we could confirm: blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker-style games and game shows
Sites that are still tied are listed alphabetically. Some sites' live lobbies didn't load for us, so for those we counted only the studios named in announcements, and we say so on their pages.
What we don't test
We haven't played at these tables ourselves. When a page describes a table, it's based on what the site or its studio has published, and the page says who published it.
How we check facts
Before a page goes live, a separate check compares every claim with its cited source. When a check finds a mistake, we fix it everywhere it appears on the site. We recheck each page's facts every month and update its checked date.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, write and check pages. A person decides what's published, every fact is checked against its source, and nothing on the site is presented as personal experience we don't have.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email info@livetables.ca with the page and what's wrong. We'll check it against the source, fix it and update the page's checked date.
